His career spans government research, Wall Street, Silicon Valley, and blockchain innovation. Bill began his career with the U.S. Government, working at the CIA’s Office of Scientific and Weapons Research and later at NASA, where he helped advance next-generation computer graphics and visualization technologies.
He later joined Goldman Sachs in New York within Fixed Income Trading, developing institutional trading systems and market infrastructure before joining Netscape during the early internet revolution, leading strategic telecommunications and internet banking initiatives across international markets. Following Netscape’s acquisition by AOL, Bill founded WebSentric, whose technology later became part of SAP’s online portal services.
Throughout his career, Bill has founded, advised, and led numerous technology companies and has been a recognized speaker at global platforms including the World Economic Forum, TED, the U.S. State Department, and Mobile World Congress.
Today, through Abra, Bill continues to be at the forefront of the transformation of money, investing, and digital financial infrastructure.
